About Calan Breckon
Like many others, the pandemic turned my world upside down. I decided then and there that I was going to become an entrepreneur. There are no guarantees in life so I decided to finally bet on myself, and things have turned out pretty alright.
Since starting in 2020...
- I've worked with many brands and companies including: Northwestern Mutual, The CGLCC, IWSCC, CoHere, ColdStart, Canada Life, Misfit Ventures, and many more.
- I was nominated for the CanadianSME National Business Awards 2SLGBTQI+ Inclusive Excellence Award both in 2023 and 2024.
- I helped create and produce the internationally recognized Gay Men Going Deeper podcast which has been nominated for multiple People's Choice Podcast Awards.
- I Successfully exited out of my first business startup.
- I've been invited to host multiple workshops on SEO and help small businesses succeed online.
- Launched my own podcast, The Business Gay, and hosted multiple live podcast recordings and interviewed many notable guests including successful entrepreneur and top podcaster Amy Porterfield.
